Management of employee costs and remunerations from the point of view of income tax and insurance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na daňové aspekty v kontextu řízení nákladů na zaměstnance a různých forem odměňování - pohledem daně z příjmů a pojistného, přičemž důraz je kladen na zaměstnanecké benefity. V teoretické části je zpracována literární rešerše. Následně je provedena analýza možností poskytování zaměstnaneckých benefitů v ČR. Na modelových příkladech jsou demonstrovány výhody těchto zaměstnaneckých benefitů z pohledu zdanění a pojistného na straně zaměstnavatele i zaměstnance. Pro modelové příklady jsou volena data získaná od konkrétních subjektů z praxe - FN Plzeň a ÚMO Plzeň 1. V závěru praktické části jsou stanovena doporučení na základě daňové výhodnosti potvrzené výpočty realizovanými autorkou a osobních rozhovorů se zaměstnanci v případě ÚMO Plzeň 1.

Abstract:

This master´s thesis focuses on the tax aspects in the context of management of employee costs and various forms of remunerations - from the perspective of income tax and insurance premiums, with an emphasis on employee benefits. In the theoretical part a literature search is processed. Subsequently, an analysis of the possibilities of providing employee benefits in the Czech Republic is carried out. Example models are used to demonstrate the advantages of these employee benefits from the perspective of taxation and insurance premiums on both the employer's and the employee's side. The data for the example models were obtained from the following organizations - the University Hospital of Pilsen and the Municipal Authority of Pilsen 1 District are chosen. At the end of the practical part, recommendations are set out on the basis of tax benefits confirmed by the calculations carried out by the author and personal interviews with the employees of the Municipal Authority of Pilsen 1 District.
