Complex Linguistic Analyses in Upper Secondary School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na tři stěžejní části ? teoretickou, praktickou a zásobník komplexních jazykových rozborů. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem komplexní jazykový rozbor z pohledu autorů Vladimíra Šmilauera, Jaroslava Jelínka a Marie Čechové. Dále jsou zmíněny cíle komplexních jazykových rozborů, začlenění této metody do vyučování a její význam z hlediska rámcového vzdělávacího programu. Praktická část je zaměřena na podrobnou analýzu didaktického testu, který byl za účelem výzkumu vytvořen. Cílem šetření bylo popsat úroveň jazykových znalostí studentů středních škol. Pracovali jsme se dvěma skupinami respondentů, jejichž výsledky jsme porovnávali. První skupinu tvořili studenti prvních ročníků, druhou pak studenti ročníků čtvrtých. Závěrečnou část práce tvoří zásobník komplexních jazykových rozborů. Zásobník je zkonstruován s ohledem na teoretická východiska Marie Čechové.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Complex Linguistic Analyses in Upper Secondary School is divided into three fundamental parts ? theoretical, practical and a set of complex linguistic analyses. The theoretical part deals with defining the term complex linguistic analysis and mentions the approaches of Vladimír Šmilauer, Jaroslav Jelínek and Marie Čechová. Furthermore, it covers the aims of complex linguistic analyses, integration of the method into teaching practice and its importance from the viewpoint of the frame educational programme. The practical part focuses on a detailed analysis of a didactic test which we had designed for the purposes of the research. Our goal was to describe the level of the linguistic knowledge of upper-secondary-school students. We worked with two groups of respondents, whose results we then compared and contrasted. The first group were year one students, the second one consisted of students in year four. The final part of the thesis is a set of complex linguistic analyses. We created it with respect to the theoretical basis of Marie Čechová.
