Political propaganda of the communism regime before 1989

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na působení a vývoj obsahu politické propagandy, vedené komunistickou stranou na území Československa. Práce se skládá z teoretické části, která vychází z odborné literatury, vztahující se k tématu. Teoretická část podrobně vysvětluje původ a význam slova "propaganda" a dále rozebírá historii jejího zkoumání a uplatňování. Jsou zde vysvětleny jednotlivé techniky, jež propaganda využívá a taktéž i kritéria, podle kterých můžeme způsob propagandy kvalifikovat. V praktické části je podle těchto kritérií komunistická propaganda analyzována a vysvětlena. Na základě této analýzy práce vysvětluje, jak byla komunistická propaganda v Československu vedena a jaký měla dosah v rámci jednotlivých nosičů, které byly k šíření propagandy využívány.

Abstract:

The bachelor work is focused on the effect and evolution of content of political propaganda, which was distributed by Communist party in Czechoslovakia. This work consists of the theoretical part which, due to the literature, describes the origin and meaning of the term "propaganda" and futher on, it describes the history of research in this category. It also describes how this term was used in history. There are also explained the main techniques and criteria, according to which we can analyze the concrete propaganda. In the practical part, communist propaganda is analyzed, using the criteria, which were described in the theoretical part. Due to this analysis, this work explaines, how political propaganda by Communist party was distributed in Czechoslovakia and which media were used in their propaganda.
