Molecular characteristics of prophages and their role in patogenicity of staphylococci

In this thesis I describe molecular characterization and role of bacteriophages in pathogenicity and genome diversity of staphylococci. Abstract:
Ve své bakalářské práci se věnuji molekulární charakteristice a významu bakteriofágů v patogenitě a genomové diverzitě stafylokoků. Fágy, které se integrují do genomu bakterie (profágy), mění fenotyp nepatogenních stafylokoků k produkcí enterotoxinů (způsobují otravu jídlem, TSS), exfoliatinů (způsobují SSSS), cytotoxinů (způsobují smrtelnou hemolytickou pneumonii u dětí) a imunomodulátorů.
