Anotace:

The goal of the thesis is to analyze how the project human resource management works in Tegeta Motors and its five subsidiary companies (located in Tbilisi, Georgia) and suggest solutions to increase efficiency. The thesis consists of literature review and a practical part. In the literature review, all related concepts for the thesis are covered. The practical part consists of interviews with the project managers working in Tegeta Motors and its five subsidiary companies, and Likert scale question about the factors affecting project team performance. Afterward, the author offers appropriate analyses of the results. The overall results showed that the project managers experience four main challenges: workload, lack of qualified project team members in the field of project management, motivation and diversity. It was found that those challenges sometimes lead to the delays, and in the case of strict deadlines, becomes the reason for the unsuccessful completion of the project. In addition to that, the research showed that there are nine main factors that can affect the project team performance. According to the project managers, those nine factors are motivation, open communication between the project team members, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, trust, cohesiveness between the project team members, stability, the existence of diversity in the project team, training and rewarding system. By concentrating on the factors affecting the project team performance, project managers can increase the level of satisfaction of the project team members and encourage the better performance, in the end, it can lead to the success of the whole project.
