Abstract:
Staphylococcus aureus is a significant bacterial pathogen. Its role in pathogenesis of human and animal diseases and fast adaptation rate to used antibiotics are caused by the acquisition and transfer of mobile genetic elements. Staphylococcus aureus je závažný bakteriální patogen. Jeho úloha v patogenezi nemocí lidí i zvířat a rychlá adaptace na používaná antibiotika je způsobena získáním mobilních genetických elementů a jejich přenosem. Tato práce se zaměřuje na variabilní genomové elementy a hlavně na ostrovy patogenity (OP) S. aureus, které obsahují geny kódující faktory virulence.
