Analysis and evaluation of approaches to the sustainable performance of the chosen company

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na analyzování udržitelné výkonnosti ve společnosti ZOD Mrákov, zhodnocení přístupů k této výkonnosti a navržení zlepšujících opatření. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je definována udržitelná výkonnost a jsou zde rozebrány především ukazatele ekonomické a environmentální výkonnosti. V praktické části bakalářské práce je v první řadě představena společnost, která se zvláště zabývá zemědělskou činností. Dále je hodnocena ekonomická výkonnost podniku pomocí tradičních ukazatelů a ekonomické přidané hodnoty v období let od 2010 do 2014. Tradiční ukazatele jsou reprezentovány zejména poměrovými ukazateli a moderní ukazatele zastupuje metoda EVA. Následně je analyzována environmentální výkonnost podniku pomocí klíčových ukazatelů. V poslední kapitole, která shrnuje provedené analýzy, je navrženo podniku jako zlepšující opatření pro posílení udržitelné výkonnosti, sledovat ekonomické a environmentální ukazatele pravidelně průběžně během roku, využívat k financování podnikatelské činnosti cizí zdroje ve větší míře a zavést množstevní slevy pro snížení doby obratu závazků.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on analysis of sustainable performance in the company ZOD Mrákov, evaluation of approach to this performance and proposing the improving measures. The thesis includes the theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part is defined the sustainable performance and here are mainly analysed the indicators of economics and environmental productivity. In the practical part of the thesis is first of all presented the company, which is focused on agricultural activities. Then, there is evaluated the economics performance of the company using the traditional indicators and economics value added in the period from 2010 to 2014. The traditional indicators are represented mostly by proportional indicators and modern indicators are substituted by the method EVA. Afterwards, there is analysed the environmental performance of the company using key indicators. In the last chapter, that summarizes performed analysis, there is proposed to the business as an improving measure for strengthening of sustainable performance to follow the economical and environmental indicators regularly continuously during a year, to use for financing of business activities foreign resources in the large extent and to introduce the quantity discounts for lowering the period of turnover obligations.
