Strategic analysis of internal and external environment of selected social service organizations

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce s názvem "Strategická analýza vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí vybrané organizace sociálních služeb" je zpracovat analýzu vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí Slezské diakonie a na jejím základě zformulovat návrhy a doporučení na zlepšení jejího současného stavu. První část práce se teoreticky věnuje charakteristice neziskového sektoru, strategického řízení, strategické analýze organizace a analýzám PESTLE, SWOT, Porter analýze konkurenčních sil a analýze vnitřních zdrojů organizace. Ve druhé části práce jsou teoretické poznatky aplikovány na konkrétní organizaci. Výstupem této diplomové práce jsou zformulované návrhy a doporučení pro Slezskou diakonii získané na základě provedené SWOT analýzy, které jsou obsaženy ve třetí části diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis "Strategic analysis of the internal and external environment of selected social services organizations" is to analyze the internal and external environment of Silesian diacony and to formulate suggestions and recommendations for improvement of its present state. The first part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of non-profit sector, strategic management, strategic analysis of the organization and PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis, Porter analysis of competitive forces and analysis of internal resources of the organization. In the second part, theoretical knowledge is applied to a specific organization. The output of this diploma thesis is the formulated proposals and recommendations for Silesian diacony obtained on the basis of the SWOT analysis, which are contained in the third part of the diploma thesis.
