The diploma thesis deals with the theme of the impact of the financial crisis on the euro area enlargement. The research is based on the analysis of the convergence criteria fulfilment, public opinion and political attitudes development in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary and the subsequent comparison of data obtained. Predmetom diplomovej práce je výskum dopadu finančnej krízy na ďalšie rozširovanie eurozóny, a to na základe analýzy plnenia konvergenčných kritérií, vývoja verejnej mienky a politického postoja v ČR, Poľsku a Maďarsku a následnej komparácií získaných údajov.
