Cílem práce je zhodnotit transformaci teritoriální a komoditní struktury zahraničního obchodu v Polské republice v kontextu integrace do evropských struktur. Rok 1989 znamenal odstartování podstatných změn, které měly mimo jiné za následek otevírání polské ekonomiky, s čímž souvisel i rozvoj mezinárodního obchodu. Jeho následný vývoj je spojen zejména s přípravou a vstupem do Evropské unie, jejímž členem je Polsko od roku 2004. Důležitou součást práce představuje analýza exportu a importu z hlediska měnící se teritoriální a komoditní struktury, kdy se Polsko postupně přeorientovalo na státy západní Evropy a více se zaměřilo na tech-nicky vyspělejší produkty. V diskuzi je provedeno srovnání poznatků se zeměmi Visegrádské skupiny (Českem, Slovenskem a Maďarskem), které mezi sebou vytvořily úzké obchodní vztahy a mají mnoho společných prvků v komoditní i teritoriální struktuře zahraničního obchodu.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2020.The aim of this work is to evaluate the transformation of the territorial and commodity structure of foreign trade in the Republic of Poland in the context of integration into European structures. The year 1989 marked the start of significant changes, which, among other things, resulted in the opening of the Polish economy, which was also related to the development of international trade. Its subsequent development is mainly associated with the preparation and accession to the European Union, of which Poland has been member since 2004. An important part of the work is the analysis of exports and imports in terms of changing territorial and commodity structure, during which Poland gradually reoriented to Western Europe and focused on more technically advanced products. The discussion compares the findings with the countries of the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary), which have established close trade relations with each other and have many common elements in the commodity and territorial structure of foreign trade.
