Awarness of ICU and ARO Paramedics about Trauma Plan

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je povědomí zdravotníků JIP a ARO o traumaplánu. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Část teoretická se v úvodu zabývá krizovou připraveností ve zdravotnictví a traumatologickým plánem. Dále se věnuje návaznosti přednemocniční na nemocniční péči, a poté samostatné nemocniční péči. V závěru teoretické části je popsán traumatologický plán ve zdravotnickém zařízení včetně systému psychosociální intervenční služby. Praktická část je zaměřena na kvantitativní průzkum provedený prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník byl určen pro zdravotnické záchranáře pracující ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, zda mají záchranáři povědomí o traumaplánu a druhým cílem bylo zjistit, zda mají přehled o třídění raněných metodou START. Zásadním výsledkem průzkumu bylo zjištění, že zdravotničtí záchranáři ve zdravotnickém zařízení mají povědomí o traumaplánu a znají správné třídění raněných metodou START. Nasbíraná data jsou interpretována a zpracována do tabulek podle jednotlivých otázek.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the awareness of ICU and ARO paramedics about trauma plan. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with crisis preparedness in healthcare and trauma plan in the introduction. It then discusses the continuity of pre-hospital to hospital care, and then independent hospital care. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the trauma plan in a healthcare facility, including the psychosocial intervention service system. The practical part focuses on the quantitative research conducted through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was designed for paramedics working in the health facility. The main objective was to find out whether the paramedics have awareness of trauma plan and the second objective was to find out whether they have an overview of triage of the injured using the START method. The major outcome of the survey was to find that paramedics in the health facility have awareness of trauma plan and know the correct triage of the injured using START method. The collected data is interpreted and tabulated according to each question.
