Financial analysis of the travel agency EXIM TOURS, a. s.

Abstract:

Bakalářské práce se zabývá finanční analýzou cestovní kanceláře EXIM TOURS, a.s. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní metodické postupy, které povedou k úspěšnému zpracování finanční analýzy konkrétního podniku. Jsou v ní vymezeny také ukazatele a modely používané ke zhodnocení finanční situace podniku. Praktická část je zaměřena na představení společnosti EXIM TOURS, a.s. a zároveň aplikaci výše zmíněné metodiky na tomto podnikatelském subjektu. Práce se bude věnovat analýze účetních výkazů, ukazatelů rentability, likvidity a solventnosti a nakonec pomocí bonitních a bankrotních modelů bude posouzeno, jestli podnik je nebo není ve finanční tísni. V závěru bude shrnutí získaných informací ze všech uvedených oblastí a nakonec zhodnocení finanční a majetkové situace podniku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on financial analysis of travel agency EXIM TOURS, a. s. The thesis is divided into methodological and practical sections. The basic methods that are used to evaluate the financial health of the selected firm are described in the methodological part. The financial ratios and models that are used to examine the financial state of the chosen company are defined there as well. A presentation of EXIM TOURS company can be found in the practical part together with actual applications of the procedures which were mentioned in the first section. This thesis will be dedicated to analysis of financial statements, financial ratios of profitability, liquidity and solvency. And lastly the firm will be assessed by using the creditworthy and bankruptcy prediction models in order to tell whether EXIM TOURS, a. s. has problems with financial stringency or not. And in the end there will be a summary of the financial health of the selected company.
