Protection of organizations against cybernetic attacks

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou kybernetické obrany organizací v České republice. V rámci práce je zaměřena pozornost na kybernetickou ochranu z hlediska celé firmy i z hlediska zaměstnance, jelikož i zaměstnanci jsou součástí kybernetické bezpečnosti a přímo se na ní podílejí. Jsou stručně popsány okruhy IT oboru, které se přímo dotýkají kybernetické bezpečnosti a je prezentována i statistika provedených útoků na české scéně v minulosti. Dále je proveden průzkum ve vybraných organizacích, jehož výsledky jsou následně prezentovány v práci. Společně s průzkumem byly provedeny i rozhovory pro nasbírání kvalitativních dat a na základě výsledků je vytvořen návrh pro zlepšení pro společnosti. Rozhovory byly prováděny se třemi společnostmi, a to s jednou divizí ČEZ a.s., s městským úřadem obce s šesti až osmi tisíci trvale žijících obyvatel a pojišťovnou působící na české scéně.

Abstract:

The degree work deals with the issue of cyber security of organizations in the Czech Republic. As part of the work, attention is focused on cyber protection from the point of view of the entire company as well as from the employee's point of view, since employees are also part of cyber security and directly participate in it. Areas of the IT industry that directly affect cyber security are briefly described, and statistics of attacks carried out on the Czech scene in the past are also presented. Furthermore, a survey is conducted in selected organizations, the results of which are subsequently presented in the thesis. Along with the survey, interviews were also conducted to collect qualitative data, and based on the results, a suggestion for improvement is created for the participating companies. Interviews were conducted with three companies, namely with one division of ČEZ a.s., with the municipal office of a village with six to eight thousand permanent residents and an insurance company operating on the Czech scene.
