Problematics of Tracking People from the Private Detective Point of View.

Abstract:

Cílem práce je analyzování způsobů sledování (ze společenských, právních, ekonomických a technických hledisek) a navržení metodiky pro základní způsoby sledování. Práce obsahuje systemizaci detektivních forem, metod a prostředků a byla provedena analýza, kterou jsem doplnil o šetření praktického příkladu sledování osoby. Analýza ukázala, jak moc komplexním sektorem soukromé detektivní služby jsou a poukázala na potřebu změn v oblasti legislativy, která v České republice nemá vyhovující podobu. Navržená metodika vychází z předpokladů, principů a zásad, které musí být naplněny, aby realizované sledování bylo zákonné, odborné, efektivní a úspěšné. Při splnění metodiky je výsledkem přidaná hodnota klientům, kterým detektiv zpracuje zakázku v náležité kvalitě. Důležitý je také přínos pro celkový sektor služeb soukromých detektivů, který tím upevňuje svůj význam a umístění v naší společnosti.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to analyze surveillance techniques, including their social, legal, economic, and technological aspects, and to propose guidelines for the main surveillance techniques. The thesis systemizes the forms, methods, and means of detective work. An analysis is conducted and complemented with a practical case study of surveillance of a person. The analysis reveals an extreme level of complexity of the private investigation industry, suggesting that existing Czech laws are inadequate and require revisions. The guidelines proposed define a set of assumptions and principles that should be met to ensure a lawful, professional, effective, and successful surveillance effort. If implemented, the guidelines will bring added value to clients in terms of a quality job performed by the detective. This will also benefit the private investigation industry by enhancing its significance and status in society.
