Occupational Risks in the Emergency Medical Service

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je na základě výsledků zvolených metod analýzy rizik vytvořit varianty snížení největších zjištěných zdravotních rizik pro zdravotnické záchranáře při práci na zdravotnické záchranné službě. Toho bylo dosaženo za pomoci rešeršní činnosti a metod analýzy rizik Check list a Hazard operability study v kombinaci s maticí rizik. Ze zjištění rizik byly vybrány ty největší. Dále byly ke každému riziku vytvořeny tři varianty řešení a pomocí kriteriální matice byla vybrána vždy ta nejvýhodnější varianta. Ke každé variantě byla nastíněna komunikace rizika a jeho monitoring. Jako největší rizika byla zjištěna: nehoda sanitního vozu, inhalace výparů dezinfekčních přípravků, neergonomické zvedání břemen a vznik syndromu vyhoření. Práce může být využita kteroukoli českou zdravotnickou záchrannou službou ke snížení zmíněných rizik, své uplatnění najde i v zahraničí.

Abstract:

The aimof this diploma thesis is to find out the highest risks of paramedic occupation and to make a list of solutions for eliminating these risks. The reserch results are based on the findings of chosen risks analysis methods - Check list and Hazard operabilty study, and on the author's search combined with risk matrix. From all of the identified risks, there were selected the highest ones. To each of the selected risks, there were made three types of solution out of which, using the criteria matrix, was chosen the best one. To each type of solution was shown the risk comunication and its monitoring. As the highest risks were found: the ambulace accident, the inhalation of disinfectant fumes, non-ergonomic lifting of loads, and the development of burnout syndrome. This diploma thesis can be used by all emergency services in the Czech Republic and abroad.
