Průtoková cytometrie nachází uplatnění zejména v diagnostice a diferenciální diagnostice leukemií a lymfomů a řadí se mezi metody využívané k detekci minimální reziduální nemoci (MRD). Flow cytometry is applied in diagnostics and differential diagnostics of leukemias and lymphomas and ranks among approaches which allow measurement of minimal residual disease (MRD). MRD detection is an essential tool for therapy response assessment and can identify molecular relapse of the disease.
