The main topic of the diploma thesis is a commented translation of a short story by the contemporary Czech writer Ivana Myšková. For the translation was selected short story Podšívka. Abstract:
Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je komentovaný překlad povídky současné české spisovatelky Ivany Myškové. Pro překlad byla vybrána konkrétně povídka Podšívka. V teoretické části se věnujeme stručné teorii překladu, životu a dílu autorky, autorskému stylu a analýze povídky. V praktické části práce se nachází samotný překlad povídky a jeho následná analýza včetně problematických okruhů.
