This dissertation presents an analysis and interpretation of the nouvelle (written by Ladislav Fuks), film (direction by Juraj Herz) Spalovač mrtvol. First chapters of the dissertation contain a biography of author and poetics of his production from 60. years. Following chapters deal with: thema and motives, composition of language.
