Analysis of the results of the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the district of Louny

Abstract:

Od počátku zavedení volebního systému si lidé vytvářejí určité volební preference, které lze v jednotlivých územích vysledovat. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá volebními trendy na území okresu Louny, přičemž jsou analyzovány výsledky voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky mezi lety 2002 až 2017. Jsou analyzovány politické strany, hnutí a koalice, které překročily stanovenou hranici 3 % získaných hlasů. Okres Louny je porovnáván s Ústeckým krajem a Českou republikou, přičemž správní obvody s rozšířenou působností jsou porovnávány vzájemně mezi sebou. Z komparace bylo zjištěno, že na území okresu Louny jsou nejvíce podporovány tradiční politické strany (ČSSD, ODS a KSČM) a v posledních volbách byla vyšší podpora hnutí ANO. Dále v SO ORP Podbořany, oproti ostatním SO ORP, je výrazně podporována strana KSČM.

Abstract:

People have formed certain election preferences in different areas since the beginning of an implementation of election system. This bachelor thesis is focused on election trends in electoral district Louny and election results of parliamentary election in the Czech Republic are analysed for period 2002-2017. Particularly are analysed political parties, movements or coalitions which crossed the given limit 3 % of gained voices. Electoral district Louny is compared with Ústí nad Labem Region and with the Czech Republic as a state and administrative districts of municipality with extended powers are compared with each other. It was found out from the comparison that the traditional political parties (ČSSD, ODS and KSČM) are supported in electoral district Louny and there was a bigger support for movement ANO in the last election. Then political party KSČM is significantly more supported in the administrative district of municipality Podbořany with extended powers than in the other administrative districts of municipality with extended powers.
