Relations between the ECB and the central banks of the Member States of the EU

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje vztahům mezi Evropskou centrální bankou a centrálními bankami členských států EU. Je zde popsáno, jak centrální banky vůbec fungují. V dalších částech je zaměření zejména na fungování celého systému Evropské centrální banky, Evropského systému centrálních bank a Eurosystému. Práce se dále podrobněji zabývá měnovou politikou ECB a v návaznosti na to i regulací a dohledem nad finančním sektorem. V poslední části je pak provedena analýza a porovnání měnových politik se zaměřením na Českou národní banku a Národní banku Slovenska.

Abstract:

This work deals with relations between the European Central Bank and the central banks of the Member States of the EU. It describes how the central banks operate. In the following sections mainly the functioning of the whole system of the European Central Bank, The European System of Central Banks and the Eurosystem are described. The work also deals with the ECB’s monetary policy and other parts of the regulation and supervision of financial market. In the final part there is an analysis and comparison of monetary policy focused on the Czech National Bank and National Bank of Slovakia.
