Historical milestones and reputations of the Ustecky region and their implementation into the homeland studies on a primary school

Abstract:

Hlavní náplní této diplomové práce je provedení pedagogického experimentu obsahující vybrané vyučovací formy typu exkurze, integrované výuky a projektového vyučování. Touto kombinací výukových metod se snažíme reagovat na postoje žáků vzorkové třídy v oblasti vlastivědy a celkového vztahu k našemu městu Ústí nad Labem. Náš záměr je tedy implementovat historické milníky z místa kde žijeme do hodin vlastivědy za pomoci již výše zmíněných metod. Aby náš záměr nabyl kýženého účinku, tak jsme se rozhodli apelovat na místní folklorní zkazky, které děti slýchají od malička a tím si zajistit jejich pozornost a potřebnou aktivitu směřující k následné vlastní iniciaci, která se projeví jako společný třídní projekt ve formě plachty znázorňující historická místa a pověsti k nim vztažené, která jsme se třídou navštívili.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to carry out a pedagogical experiment including the selected teaching methods such as excursions, integrated teaching and project teaching. By means of combining these methods we intend to address the attitudes of pupils of the sampled school class in the area of homeland studies and their general attitude towards our city of Ústí nad Labem. So, our goal is to implement the above mentioned approach emphasizing the local historical milestones into the class of homeland studies. In order to meet the desired effects, we are going to focus at local folklore tales that children listen to from a young age, thus catching their attention and provoking activities needed to their initiation. This development should manifest as the common class project in the form of screen showing historical places and the tales associated with them that we visited with the class.
