Partial function deficits in preschool age children

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabýváme tématem "Deficitů dílčích funkcí u dětí předškolního věku". Naším cílem je zjistit úroveň deficitů dílčích funkcí a v případě vyššího rizika nedostatečně rozvinutých funkcí realizovat strukturovaný program nácviku. V úvodní kapitole teoretické části se věnujeme motorickému, kognitivnímu a sociálnímu vývoji dítěte předškolního věku. Zpracováváme základní aspekty podmiňující školní zralost a připravenost. Dále se soustředíme na klíčová témata deficitů dílčích funkcí a v závěru teoretické části se zabýváme problematikou specifický poruch učení. V empirické části provádíme kvalitativně orientovaný výzkum realizovaný pomocí screeningové metody Brigitte Sindelarové, které je zaměřena na předcházení poruchám učení. Původní výzkumný soubor byl tvořen 10 dětmi předškolního věku a z tohoto vzorku jsme na základě výsledků vstupního screeningu vybrali 4 děti v riziku nedostatečně rozvinutých funkcí. U těchto dětí vypracováváme případovou studii, zahajujeme reedukační program nácviku a realizujeme výstupní screeningové šetření hodnotící efektivitu metody zjišťující potencionální úroveň progrese. V závěru diplomové práce se věnujeme interpretaci výsledků provedeného výzkumu, diskusi a souhrnným doporučením využitelným ve speciálně pedagogické praxi.

Abstract:

In this diploma thesis, we deal with the topic of "Deficits of partial functions in preschool children". Our aim; is to determine the level of deficits of partial functions and in case of a higher risk of underdeveloped functions to implement a structured training program. In the introductory chapter of the theoretical part, we focus on the motor, cognitive and social development of preschool children. We elaborate on the basic aspects of school maturity and readiness. Furthermore, we focus on the key topics of partial function deficits and at the end of the theoretical part, we deal with the issue of specific learning disabilities. In the empirical part, we carry out qualitatively oriented research realized using the screening method of Brigitte Sindelar, which is focused on the prevention of learning disabilities. The original research group consisted of 10 preschool children and from this sample we selected 4 children at risk of underdeveloped functions based on the results of the initial screening. We develop a case study of these children, initiate a re-education training program, and carry out an output screening survey evaluating the effectiveness of a method to determine the potential level of progression. At the end of the thesis, we focus on the interpretation of the results of the research, discussion and summary recommendations applicable in special pedagogical practice.
