Seat of decline as a result of mining in the Most area

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zániku sídel na Mostecku a přibližuje činnost obnovy krajiny, která byla zdevastována hnědouhelnou těžbou. Oblast Mostecka prošla v období několika posledních století výraznou změnou krajinného rázu, která ovlivnila životy mnoha lidí. Od poloviny 19. století začala na území Mostecka významná těžba hnědého uhlí. V důsledku těžby Mostecko trpělo významnými zásahy do krajinného rázu a životního prostředí. Mezi zásadní negativa těžby patřila likvidace sídel, kterých v regionu zaniklo celkem zhruba třicet. Tyto sídla se nacházela zpravidla v oblasti hnědouhelných slojí, nebo ve volné krajině, která nabízela vhodné podmínky pro uložení nadložních zemin z povrchových dolů. V posledních letech však těžba hnědého uhlí na Mostecku ustupuje a v rámci rekultivačních procesů dochází k obnově zdevastované krajiny.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problems extinction of settlements in the Most region and bringing activities landscape regeneration, which was devastated by brown coal mining. Region Most passed during the last few centuries a significant change in the landscape, which has affected the lives of many people. From the mid-19th century began in the territory of Most significant mining of brown coal. In the mining area Mostecká suffered significant interference in the landscape and the environment. One of of the major negatives belonged liquidation of settlements, which became extinct in the region, a total of about thirty. These sites are usually found in coal seams or in open country, which offered suitable conditions for storage of overburden soils from surface mines. In recent years, mining of brown coal in the Most region retreats and in the reclamation process is to restore the devastated landscape.
