Cílem této práce je popis existujících demografických trendů v ČR, a to včetně nastínění jejich teoretických příčin. Dále pak konfrontace obecných republikových trendů s demografickým vývojem v území Olomouckého kraje. The goal of this thesis is a description of demographic trends in the Czech Republic with their theoretical reasons. Then the confrontation of general republic trends with the demographic development in the Olomouc region. The next chapter is a attepmt to do the prognosis of this demographic development.
