Tax Systems in selected EU Countries

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce jsou daňové systémy ve vybraných členských stá-tech Evropské unie, a to v České republice, Spolkové republice Německo a Dán-ském království a jejich následná komparace. Cílem této diplomové práce je komparace daňových systému vybraných členských států, a to především na základě provedených výpočtů efektivní míry zdanění příjmů fyzických osob, daňového klínu, a dále pak výpočtů intervalové progresivity daňové povinnosti. Metodikou použitou v diplomové práci je kvantitativní výzkum, přičemž výsled-ky jednotlivých výpočtů jsou analyzovány a komparovány za účelem zjistit, jak se hodnoty vybraných ukazatelů v rámci jednotlivých států liší a co tyto odliš-nosti způsobuje. Výstupem diplomové práce je tedy zjištění rozdílností vybra-ných členských států ve vztahu k efektivní míře zdanění příjmů fyzických osob, daňovému klínu a intervalové progresivitě daňové povinnosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is about tax systems in selected member states of the European Union, namely in the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of Denmark and their subsequent comparison. The purpose of the thesis is to compare the tax systems of the previously named countries on the basis of verified calculations of effective tax revenues of individuals, tax wedge, and furthermore to calculate the interval progressiveness of the tax liability. The study design used in the diploma thesis is quantitative research. The results of individual calculations are analyzed and compared with each other in order to find out how they differ and what is causing these variations. The output of this diploma is to find differences between the countries in connection with effective tax revenues of individuals, tax wedge and the interval progressiveness of the tax liability.
