Probation and mediation as a form of treatment of offenders

Abstract:

V práci jsem se pokusila informovat odbornou veřejnost o výhodách alternativních trestů, kde svůj velký podíl má institut Probační a mediační služby. Z hlediska ochrany společnosti před kriminalitou, chápeme trest jako následek spáchaného trestného činu. Problémem naší společnosti jsou nejen vysoké finanční náklady na uvězněného pachatele, ale také přeplněné věznice. Úsporou a řešením se nabízí možnost alternativních trestů, kde nastupuje probační úředník. Ten sestavuje reformu pachatelova života a kontroluje řádné plnění trestu, který není spojen s odnětím svobody. Vzhledem ke zvyšujícím se nárokům na odborné zacházení s pachateli trestných činů, které není spojeno s odnětím svobody, je dle mého na místě se touto problematikou podrobně seznámit.

Abstract:

At work, I tried to inform professionals about the benefits of alternative sentencing, where his great contribution to the Institute Probation and Mediation Service.To protect society against crime, we understand the sentence as a result of the crime committed. Problems in our society are not only high costs imprisoned offenders, but also overcrowded prisons. Savings and solution offers the possibility of alternative sentencing, which started the probation officer. He prepares the reform of the offender's life and controls the proper execution of the sentence, which is not connected with imprisonment. Due to increasing demands on the proper treatment of offenders , which is not connected with imprisonment seems to me to place this issue in detail to meet.
