Valuation of the company for financial rehabilitation purposes

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je stanovit hodnotu podniku MICo, spol. s.r.o. Ocenění je provedeno k 27. dubnu 2022 jakožto ke dni předcházejícímu den zjištění úpadku, a to za účelem stanovení hodnoty pro vlastníky a věřitele společnosti v insolvenčním řízení. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je vysvětlena problematika ocenění a postup při oceňování podniku. Zároveň jsou v ní vymezena specifika podniku, který se dostal do úpadku. Praktická část je věnována samotnému stanovení hodnoty společnosti, kdy je nejprve provedena strategická a finanční analýza. Důraz je kladen na vyhodnocení going concern principu vzhledem k tomu, že se podnik nachází v úpadku. Na základě předchozích analýz je pomocí generátorů hodnoty sestaven finanční plán. Následně je provedeno samotné ocenění, a to výnosovým způsobem za dodržení předpokladů going concern analýzy, a majetkovým způsobem pro potřeby insolvenčního řízení.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the value of the company MICo, spol. s.r.o. The valuation is carried out on April 27th 2022, as the day before the detection of bankruptcy, for the purpose of determining the value for the company's owners and creditors in insolvency proceedings. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the matter of valuation and the procedure for valuing a company are explained. Specifics of a company that went into bankruptcy are also defined. The practical part is dedicated to the valuation of the company itself. Firstly, strategic and financial analysis is performed. The evaluation of the going concern principle is emphasized since the company is in bankruptcy. Based on the previous analysis, a financial plan is drawn up using value generators. Subsequently, the valuation itself is carried out, namely by the income method in compliance with assumptions of the going concern analysis, and by the asset method for the needs of insolvency proceedings.
