Cooperation between primary schools and the social-legal protection of children

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o tom, v jakých případech základní školy spolupracují s orgánem sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Práce rovněž poukazuje na to, v jakých případech se tyto situace dají řešit za pomoci jiných aktérů a jak by bylo možné řešit obtížné situace žáků na základních školách. Pomocí rozhovorů s participanty na základních školách byla zjištěna potřebná data k výzkumu. Výzkum byl rovněž doplněn metodou desk research neboli sekundární analýzou dat. Touto metodou byly zpracovány dokumenty jednotlivých škol s ohledem na téma práce. Výsledky šetření jsou případy žáků ze třech základních škol. Instituce spolupracují v obtížných situacích žáků, které se projevují rizikovým chováním. Dále při rozvodové situaci rodičů a nízkých kompetencích zákonného zástupce. Jelikož není klientem dítě, ale celá rodina, bylo by vhodné zapojení jiných aktérů ve formě sociálních služeb (nízkoprahová centra a sociálně aktivizační služby). Na tuto problematiku by mohl na základních školách reagovat školský sociální pracovník, který by obtížným situacím žáků dokázal předcházet a reagovat na potřeby jednotlivých dětí a jejich rodin.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the cases in which primary schools cooperate with the social-legal protection of children. The thesis also points out in which cases these situations can be solved with the help of other aid actors and how difficult situations of pupils in primary schools could be solved. By means of interviews with participants in primary schools, the necessary data for the research was obtained. The research was also complemented by a desk research method or secondary data analysis. Using this method, the documents of each school were processed with regard to the topic of the thesis. The results of the investigation are the cases of pupils from three primary schools. The institutions cooperate in difficult situations of pupils that manifest risky behaviour. Furthermore, in the divorce situation of the parents and low competence of the legal representative. Since the client is not the child but the whole family, it would be appropriate to involve other actors in the form of social services (low-threshold centres and social activation services). A school social worker could respond to this issue in primary schools, who would be able to prevent difficult situations for pupils and respond to the needs of individual children and their families.
