Tato diplomová práce je věnována zejména možnostem ochrany osob před účinky ionizujícího záření. Jsou zde popsány zdroje ionizujícího záření, druhy ionizujícího záření a interakce ionizujícího záření s hmotou. This thesis is dedicated in particular the possibility to protect persons from the effects of ionizing radiation. There are described sources of ionizing radiation, sources of ionizing radiation and ionizing radiation interactions with matter.
