Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jednu z největších spojeneckých výsadkových akcí druhé světové války, operaci "Market Garden", jež se uskutečnila v září roku 1944 v Nizozemsku. První výsadková armáda generálporučíka Lewise Breretona měla obsadit klíčové mosty přes řeky Máza, Waal a Rýn (osa Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Arnhem). Abstract:
The bachelor thesis focuses on one of the biggest allied airborne operations of the World War II, "Market Garden" which took place in Netherlands in September 1944. The First Allied Airborne Army of General Colonel Lewis Brereton was supposed to occupy key bridges over the rivers Meuse, Waal and Rhine (axis of Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Arnhem).
