Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozdíly vybraných determinantů kriminality mezi prvotrestanými a recidivisty ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Mezi vybrané determinanty kriminality, kterými se práce zabývá, je drogová závislost, vzdělanost vyjádřená stupněm dosaženého vzdělání, nezaměstnanost a funkčnost rodinného zázemí v podobě udržování kontaktů vězněných osob s vlastní rodinou pomoci korespondence a pravidelných návštěv. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část má čtyři kapitoly, ve kterých jsou popsány základní pojmy a vybrané determinanty kriminality, stručně je seznámeno s Vězeňskou službou České republiky, jejími úkoly a organizací, dále charakterizuje Vazební věznici Ostrava, ve které je prováděn výzkum. Závěr teoretické části popisuje trest odnětí svobody a jednotlivé činnosti určené pro odsouzené osoby ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, které minimalizují stávající determinanty kriminality vězněných osob. Praktická část prezentuje provedený výzkum metodou studiem dokumentů, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké rozdíly vybraných determinantů kriminality jsou mezi prvotrestanými a recidivisty ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a na jehož základě nám můžou tyto zjištěné rozdíly pomoci při následné práci s těmito kategoriemi osob při individuálním stanovování jednotlivých skladeb programů zacházení vězněným osobám ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, jejichž hlavním cílem je také minimalizovat stávající determinanty kriminality vězněných osob a tudíž předcházet následné recidivě.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the differences of selected criminality determinants between first-time lawbreakers and recidivists in imprisonment. The selected criminality determinants include drug addiction, education expressed by the achieved level of education, unemployment, and functionality of the family background in a form of keeping contacts of the prisoners with their family using correspondence and regular visits. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains four chapters which describe basic terms, selected criminality determinants, there is a brief introduction of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic with its tasks and organisation, and a characterisation of the Ostrava Remand Prison, where the research was carried out. The end of the theoretical part describes imprisonment and individual activities for the prisoner which minimise the existing criminality determinants of the prisoners. The practical part presents the performed research by the method of document study. Its objective was to find out what differences of the selected criminality determinants are between the first-time lawbreakers and the prisoners. Based on the findings, those will help us in subsequent work with these categories of people when defining a personalised structure of programmes how to treat the prisoners - their main task is also to minimise existing criminality determinants of the prisoners, thus to prevent future recidivism.
