Analysis and possibilities of using ICT in teaching at secondary schools

Abstract:

Cílem práce je skrze data získaná v dotazníkovém šetření mezi studenty a v rámci řízených rozhovorů s učiteli gymnázií, zmapovat situaci vybavenosti školy co do informačních a komunikačních technologií a jejich využívání ve výuce. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. První dvě kapitoly teoretické části jsou zaměřeny na objasnění pojmů ICT a nastínění základních teoretických proudů ve vzdělávání. Třetí kapitola popisuje vývoj ICT ve vzdělávání jak z historického hlediska, tak i z hlediska pohledu na obecnou implementaci ICT do školy. Čtvrtá a pátá kapitola se věnují popisu aktuální trendů a možností zapojení ICT do výuky. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována zamyšlení nad možným zapojením dalších technologií v budoucnu. Praktická část je pak věnována prezentaci a analýze dat získaných z dotazníkového šetření a řízených rozhovorů. Závěr shrnuje poznatky získané v praktické části.

Abstract:

The aim of the work is to use the data obtained in the questionnaire survey among students and in the framework of controlled interviews with high school teachers, to map the situation of the school's equipment in terms of information and communication technologies and their use in teaching. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on clarifying the concepts of ICT and outline the basic theoretical streams in education. The third chapter describes the development of ICT in education both from a historical perspective and from the point of view of general implementation of ICT in school. The fourth and fifth chapters are devoted to the description of current trends and possibilities of ICT involvement in teaching. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to thinking about possible involvement of other technologies in the future. The practical part is devoted to the presentation and analysis of data obtained from the questionnaire survey and controlled interviews. The conclusion summarizes the knowledge gained in the practical part.
