The Crises Intervention and the Suicides of Policemen

Abstract:

Tato práce se ve své první části zabývá vývojem psychologických služeb v rámci Police České republiky, pojmy krizové intervence, telefonickou krizovou intervencí, všeobecným výcvikem telefonické krizové intervence, etickým kodexem linek důvěry a tématy řešenými krizovou intervencí. V teoretické části práce je analýza sebevražedného jednání policistů, která vychází z podrobného šetření případů sebevražd z let 2003 a 2004 z podkladů vedených Odborem vnitřní kontroly Policejního prezidia České republiky. Výroční zprávy anonymní linky pomoci v krizi dokladují počty telefonátů policistů se sebevražednými úvahami. Druhá část práce je uvedena pracovními hypotézami. Případové studie uvádějí uskutečněné sebevraždy policistů. U každého případu je uvedeno vlastní zhodnocení a návrh postupu v situaci, kdy by se policista obrátil na linku důvěry. Tato část je uzavřena vyhodnocením pracovních hypotéz.Práce předkládá závěry, které mohou být využité pro preventivní opatření v problematice sebevražd policistů.

Abstract:

The first part of the work deals with development of psychological services in department of Police in the Czech Republic, defined notions crisis intervention, telephonic crisis intervention, a general training of telephonic crisis intervention, ethic code for hot lines and principal subject solved by the crisis intervention. Theoretic part of the work involves profiling of suicidal behaviour of policemen. Profiling results from in detail examined cases, which happened in the years 2003 and 2004, profiling goes out of basis registered in the Department of internal control Police headquarters of the Czech Republic. Annual reports from anonymous hot line for help in crisis situations illustrate the numbers of telephone calls made by policemen with suicidal ideations.There are working hypothesis in the second part of the work. The case studies demonstrate commit suicides of policemen. Every incident has own evaluation and has some suggestion for procedure and the possibility of solution, when a policeman contacts hot line. This volume of work concludes evaluation of working hypothesis.The work affords the suitable information, which can be used as precautionary arrangements in suicides of policemen.
