Commented translation of Sergei Dovlatov's short stories
Abstract:
The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis describes basic terms from the field of the theory of translation and deals with the personality and work of the Russian writer Sergei Dovlatov. The practical part comprised of translations of author?s two short stories autora ? ?Vstretilis, pogovorili?, ?Tretiy povorot nalevo? and comments with the particular solutions of the translation problem areas.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce vymezuje v teoretické části základní pojmy z oblasti teorie překladu a zabývá se osobností a tvorbou ruského spisovatele Sergeje Dovlatova. Praktická část se skládá z předkladů dvou povídek tohoto autora ? ?Vstretilis, pogovorili?, ?Tretij povorot nalevo?, a komentáře s konkrétními překladatelskými řešeními daných problematických míst.
