Economic rise in the newly industrialized Asian economies

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem ``Ekonomický vzestup nově industrializovaných zemích Asie{\crqq} postihuje hospodářský vývoj v asijských nově industrializovaných zemích tzv. první generace, tedy v Hongkongu, Jižní Koreji, Tchajwanu a Singapuru, zhruba od počátku 60. let po současnost. První část je věnována obecné charakteristice rozvojových zemí a jako taková představuje úvod do problematiky následujících kapitol. Ty se zabývají rozborem hospodářských výsledků v asijských nově industrializovaných zemích, zejména pak v oblasti růstové a strukturální dynamiky a změnami, k nimž došlo v souvislosti s touto dynamikou v sociální sféře. Dále jsou zde analyzovány jednotlivé faktory, jež se podílely na ekonomickém úspěchu asijských nově industrializovaných zemích. Poslední dvě kapitoly zachycují současný vývoj v těchto zemích, z nichž první pojednává o asijské krizi v roce 1997, jež postihla region jihovýchodní Asie, včetně jmenovaných ekonomik a druhá se zabývá zhodnocením současné situace prostřednictvím vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. Závěr práce je zaměřen na souhrnné zhodnocení okruhů obsažených v jednotlivých kapitolách. Také je zde, alespoň částečně, snaha o odpověď na otázku, jež je položena v úvodu práce, a to, zda by se aspekty související s úspěchem ANIZ nedaly implementovat také na ostatní země rozvojového světa.

Abstract:

Dissertation called ``Economic rise in the newly industrialized Asian economies{\crqq} is focused on economic progress in the newly industrialized Asian countries, so called first generation, so Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapur roughly from the beginning of the sixties till present. First part is dedicated to the general characteristics of developing countries and it also presents the into to problems of the following parts. These are handled with the analysis of the econimic results in the asian newly industrialized countries, particularly in the area of growing and structural dynamic and changes, that happened in context with this dynamic, in the social sphere. Next are analyzed several elements, that had participated on the economic rise of the asian newly industrialized countries. The last two chapters are about the present progress in these countries, in which the first one is about the asian crisis in the year 1997, that has affected the southeast Asia, including nominative economics and in the second one is evaluation of the present situation by the chosen macroeconomic indicators. The end of the dissertation is aimed on the aggregate evaluation of the themes included in the several chapters. Also is here, at least particularly, effort to answer the question, that has been put in the prologue of the work, and that is, if the aspects related with the success of the ANIZ could be implemented also to other developing countries.
