The issue of integration of gipsy children into basic schools with a special educational plan

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku zařazování romských dětí do škol se speci-álním výukovým plánem. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historii Romů, jejich původ, specifika romské kultury, vní-mání světa a času. Součást jejich historie také neodmyslitelně tvoří pohnutá válečná léta s vizí úplného vyhlazení tohoto národa a období normalizace s neustálými snahami o jejich asimilaci. Druhá polovina teoretické části je zaměřena na vývoj vzdělávacího systému v naší republice vztažmo k Romům a specifika výchovy v romské rodině, která mají následně vliv na vzdělávání jejich dětí. Hlavním cílem praktické části je hledání a analýza možných příčin zařazování romských dětí do základních škol se speciálním výukovým plánem. Zkoumaným souborem jsou rom-ské rodiny a základní škola se speciálním výukovým plánem což umožnilo komparaci zís-kaných dat ze dvou různých pohledů.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the Roma children placement in the special educational programing schools. The theoretical part is focuses on the history of Roma origin, the specifics of the Roma culture, the world and time perceptions. Part of their history is inherently formed by the turbulent war years with a vision of the nation total annihilation and the normalization pe-riod with the constant effort to assimilate. The second half of the theoretical part is focuses on the czech educational system development given the Roma and the Roma families´ education specifics which subsequently influence their children´education. The main aim of the practical part is finding and analyzing the possible causes of the Roma children placement into the mainstream schools with the special educational program. The Roma families and the primary school with special learning plan are the sample that al-lowed the comparison of the data obtained from two different perspectives
