Physiotherapy of children with cerebral palsy - spastic form

Abstract:

Svou prací jsem se zaměřila na aktuální téma ? Fyzioterapie u dítěte s DMO, především na formu spastickou. Dětská mozková obrna změní život dítěti i jeho rodině. Děti s DMO jsou odkázány na pomoc a péči druhých, což znamená pro osoby v okolí postiženého dítěte velkou fyzickou i psychickou zátěž. Každé dítě s DMO má trochu jiné problémy, a podle toho k němu musíme přistupovat. Snahou fyzioterapeuta je využití fyzioterapeutických metod, které pomohou zmírnit dopady postižení, zhodnotit schopnosti dítěte a sestavit vhodný plán péče. Velmi důležitá je také včasná diagnostika této choroby a zahájení včasné léčby. Fyzioterapie je velmi důležitá v oboru dětské neurologie a nachází zde velké uplatnění. Nedílnou součástí je také zapojení rodiny do léčby a psychická podpora rodičů.

Abstract:

My seminar work theme is physiotherapy for children with cerebral palsy as still actual topic. I focus primarily on the spastic form of cerebral palsy. Children?s cerebral palsy changes not only the life of the child but the whole family life, too. Children with this disease rely on personal care service which brings huge physical and psychological burden for the carers. We need to be aware of the fact that each child with cerebral palsy has different problems.Care method also changes according to the child?s age. Physiotherapist should apply those physiotherapeutic methods which can reduce the disability impacts, consider the child?s ability and form suitable care plan. Very important is also early diagnosis of this disability and early therapy start. Physiotherapy is very important field of child neurology and finds there its use.An integral part of the therapy is the involvement of the family members and psychic support.
