Non-invasive pulmonary ventilation and its use in prehospital emergency

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou použití neinvazivní plicní ventilace v přednemocniční péči a její obsah je rozdělen na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část pojednává o činnosti zdravotnické záchranné služby, přibližuje pojem přednemocniční neodkladná péče a popisuje náplň zdravotnického personálu zdravotnického operačního střediska. Dále se věnuje patofyziologii dýchacího systému a stavům s ní spojenou. Bakalářská práce se rovněž zabývá pojmem umělá plicní ventilace, přístrojovou technikou a na základě literárních rešerší popisuje indikace, kontraindikace a komplikace umělé plicní ventilace. Poslední část bakalářské práce je spojena s přiblížením neinvazivní plicní ventilace a jejímu využití v přednemocniční neodkladné péči. V praktické části jsou popsány výsledky kvantitativního šetření, které je zaměřeno na četnost použití neinvazivní plicní ventilace v přednemocniční neodkladné péči, teoretických znalostí respondentů a v neposlední řadě výhodami a nevýhodami neinvazivní plicní ventilace ze stran personálu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of using non-invasive pulmonary ventilation in pre-hospital care and is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part discusses the activities of the emergency medical services, introduces the concept of pre-hospital emergency care, and describes the responsibilities of the medical personnel in the medical dispatch center. It also addresses the pathophysiology of the respiratory system and associated conditions. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis examines the concept of artificial pulmonary ventilation, equipment techniques, and based on literature research, describes the indications, contraindications, and complications of artificial pulmonary ventilation. The last part of the bachelor thesis is related to introducing non-invasive pulmonary ventilation and its utilization in pre-hospital emergency care. The practical part describes the results of a quantitative survey focused on the frequency of using non-invasive pulmonary ventilation in pre-hospital emergency care, the theoretical knowledge of the respondents, and last but not least, the advantages and disadvantages of non-invasive pulmonary ventilation from the perspective of the personnel.
