Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu trhu a návrh business intelligence řešení pro vybranou společnost. Celá práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. První část začíná krátkým představením společnosti a vypracovanou SWOT analýzou. Dále pokračuje rozdělením trhu se svářecí technikou na menší segmenty, které poté jednotlivě charakterizuje. Druhá část se zabývá analýzou informačního systému, který společnost aktuálně využívá. Začátek kapitoly obsahuje představení systému a informace o jeho produktových řadách. Poté je popsána aktuální verze systému, kterou společnost používá. Čtenář se dozví jaké agendy systém zpracovává, jaké nabízí funkce a jaké má dostupné BI nástroje. Nakonec se čtenář dozví požadavky společnosti na návrh řešení. Poslední část se zabývá samotným návrhem BI řešení. Jsou zde uvedeny použité dimenze a ukazatelé, které jsou potřeba k řešení. Kapitola také obsahuje dimenzionální model, tabulku vazeb mezi ukazateli a dimenzemi a samotné výsledky v grafickém provedení. Čtenář se dozví jaké byly použity zdroje dat, jaká byla použita platforma pro návrh řešení a vyjádření obchodního jednatele společnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on market analysis and business intelligence design solutions for a selected company. The whole thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part begins with a brief introduction of the company and a SWOT analysis. It continues with dividing the welding technology market into smaller segments, which are then characterized individually. The second part deals with the analysis of the information system that is currently used by the company. The beginning of the chapter contains the introduction of the system and information about its product lines. Then the current version of the system that the company uses is described. The reader learns what agendas the system handles, what features it offers and what business intelligence tools it has. At the end of the chapter reader learns the company's requirements for a solution proposal. The last part deals with the design of business intelligence solution. There are described used dimensions and metrics that are needed for the solution. The chapter also includes a dimensional model, a table of relationsthips between metrics and dimensions, and the results themselves in a graphical design. The reader learns what data sources were used, what was the platform for resolving the problem, and the opinion of the company's managing director.
