Diplomová práce představuje burzovní trh jako součást systému vyššího řádu nazvaného finanční trh a analyzuje jeho vývoj. Teoretická část popisuje prostředí finančního trhu, zákonitosti jeho fungování a jeho skladbu. Dále se zabývá definicí burzy, burzovním systémem a jeho prvky.
