Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku pro-ana blogů adolescentních dívek na území České Republiky. Pro-ana blogy (internetové deníčky) se propojují prostřednictvím funkce spřátelených blogů do širokých sociálních sítí, komunit. Byl zkoumán vliv blogu na život respondentky a na rozvoj, léčbu či recidivu anorexie. Dále byly zkoumány vztahy mezi dívkami v komunitě. Výzkum byl veden kvalitativně. Zdrojem dat bylo 12 polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s dívkami majícími zkušenost s vedením pro-ana blogu. Rozhovory byly analyzovány metodou zakotvené teorie. Věkové rozmezí respondentek bylo 15 – 20 let. Nejdůležitějšími zjištěními bylo, že hlavní motivací pro blogování je podpora, kterou dostávají od ostatních členek, mezi dívkami vznikají přátelské vztahy. Zajímavým zjištěním byly poznatky ohledně ukončování či pozastavování blogu. Nejčastějším důvodem bylo, že se dívkám nedaří hubnout, nesplňují tak pravidla pro-ana komunity a získávají pocit, že do komunity nepatří. Druhým důvodem bylo, že se chtějí léčit či přestat s omezováním v jídle. V tomto případě dívka přetrhává veškeré navázané vztahy, respondentky se shodly, že není možné další setrvání v komunitě či udržování získaných přátelských vztahů. Nicméně většina dívek měla zkušenost s návraty a opětovnými odchody z komunity. Pro-ana blog má vliv zejména na sebehodnocení, utvářející se identitu, vnímání tělesného schématu. Hlavní působící faktory jsou sociální podpora a thinspiration.

Abstract:

The dissertation deals with problems of pro-ana blogs of adolescent girls in the Czech Republic. Through a function of friendly blogs are pro-ana blogs (the internet diares) interconnected into a wide social networks and communities. The influence of the blog on the life of respondent, her development, treatment and relapse of anorexia together with relationships between girls in the community was explored through a qualitative method of research. The source of the data was 12 semi-structured interviews of girls who have experienced of writing pro-ana blog. The interviews were analyzed through a grounded theory. The age range of the respondents was from 15 to 20. The most important findings of this research were that the main motivation for blogging is a support given from other members of the network and that the girls have very friendly relationships. Another interesting finding is connected with a stopping or suspending of the blogs. The most frequent reason was that the girls were not doing too well with a loosing their weight what means that they do not fill requirement of the pro-ana community and do not feel to be a part of them. Another reason was that they want to undergo a treatment or to stop with a restriction of the food. In that situation the girl looses her connection with other bloggers and is impossible to stay in the community for a longer time or to continue with the friendly relationships. However majority of the girls had the experience with repeated returns and departures from the community. The pro-ana blog has certain influence on the self-esteem, forming the individual’s identity and body image. The major influential factors are social support and thinspiration.
