The comparison of support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic and France

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce mapuje nejdůležitější druhy podpory, která jsou poskytovány francouzským a českým malým a středním podnikům. Popisovaná podpora je jak ze strany veřejných institucí, tak i soukromých subjektů. Cílem práce je najít klíčové rozdíly v poskytování podpory malým a středním podnikům ve Francii a v České republice. První kapitola obecně hodnotí postavení malých a středních podniků v Evropské unii, jejich důležitost pro evropské hospodářství a nejdůležitější zdroje podpory. V druhé a třetí kapitole je popsán systém podpory drobným podnikům ve Francii a v České republice, kdy jsou uvedeny nejdůležitější organizace a asociace, které podnikům poskytují pomoc jak finanční, tak i v podobě asistencí a konzultací. V závěru jsou shrnuty nejdůležitější poznatky souvisící s podporou podniků ve Francii a v České republice a vyzdvihnuty nejvýznamnější rozdíly v poskytované podpoře.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the most important sources of support provided to Czech and French small and medium enterprises. The described support results weather from public institutions or private organizations and associations. The aim of this thesis is to compare these two different systems of support. The first chapter evaluates the role of small and medium enterprises and highlights their importance in the European Union in general. Moreover, a part of this chapter is also description of the main sources of financial aid for the European enterprises. A specific support for small and medium enterprises in both countries is contained in the second and the third chapter. The key public and private organizations, offering both financial and nonfinancial aid, are there included as well. In conclusion, the most important findings are summarized and the main differences between French and Czech system of support are emphasized.
