Abstrakt STIESS, Jan. Etiketa jako nedílná součást hotelového provozu. [Bakalářská práce] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2018. 95 stran. Bakalářská práce s aktuálním tématem „Etiketa jako nedílná součást hotelového provozu“ je členěna do tří částí, konkrétně teoretické, analytické a návrhové. Teoretická část popisuje etiketu a její základní pravidla, spolu s aplikováním do hotelového provozu z pohledu hosta i pracovníka. Zároveň zohledňuje vývoj moderních technologií a jejich vliv na chování lidí. Druhá část se zaměřuje na analytickou stránku práce a využívá nasbírané informace v hotelu Adria k následnému zpracování dat. Třetí část pojednává o návrzích, jak znalost etikety zvýšit a jak ji nejlépe do hotelnictví aplikovat. Pro tuto práci byly určeny dvě výzkumné otázky: Q1: Je pravdou, že se etiketa, dle mínění zaměstnanců v hotelových a restauračních zařízeních v průběhu let postupně zaniká? Q2: Je pravdou, že moderní technologie (mobilní telefony, tablety) značně ovlivňují společenské chování v hotelových a restauračních zařízeních?

Abstract STIESS, Jan. Etiquette as an integral part of hotel operation. [Bachelor Thesis] University College Hotel. Prague: 2018. 95 pages. Bachelor thesis with the current topic " etiquette as an integral part of hotel operation" is divided into three parts, namely theoretical, analytical and design. The theoretical part describes the etiquette and its basic rules, along with applying to the hotel operation from the perspective of the guest and the worker. It also takes into account the development of modern technologies and their impact on people's behavior. The second part focuses on the analytical aspect of the work and uses the information gathered at the Adria Hotel to process the data. The third part deals with suggestions on how to increase the knowledge of the etiquette and how best to apply it to the hotel. Two research questions were identified for this work: Q1: Is it true that the etiquette, in the opinion of employees in hotel and restaurant facilities, is gradually being phased out over the years? Q2: Is it true that modern technology (mobile phones, tablets) greatly affect social behavior in hotel and restaurant facilities?
