Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá poptávkou po terénních sociálních a zdravotních službách pro seniory v regionu Ostrava. Tato diplomová práce se dělí na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem stárnutí a stáří, následně pak problematikou soběstačnosti u seniorů. Dále se zaměřuje na vymezení sociální práce a konkrétněji se věnuje tématice sociální práce se seniory. V práci je dále popsáno východisko, které lze u této cílové skupiny využít při sociální práci v domácím prostředí a ve zdravotnických zařízeních. Práce zároveň popisuje formy domácí péče o seniory, přesněji pak terénní sociální služby a domácí péči o seniory. Poslední část se pak zabývá managementem zdravotně-sociálních služeb a vymezením regionu Ostrava. Empirická část se zabývá výzkumným šetřením, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaká je poptávka po terénních sociálních a zdravotnických služeb u seniorů na území okresu Ostrava-město, a to dle dostupnosti poskytovaných služeb. Dílčím cílem bylo také zjistit, zda jsou tyto služby pro seniory finančně dostupné a jaká je informovanost seniorů o těchto službách a možnostech jejich hrazení a jak senioři vnímají domácí prostředí. Empirická část se tak věnuje metodologii výzkumu, interpretaci dat, které byly získány za pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, přičemž technikou sběru dat byl anonymní dotazník. Dále se pak zabývá ověřováním hypotéz a diskusí výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the demand for field of social and health services for the elderly in the region of Ostrava. It is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the aging and old age as well as the issue of self-sufficiency in the elderly. It also focuses on the definition of social work and more specifically addresses the topic of social work with the elderly. In the work is also described the starting point that we can use in social work in a home environment and in health facilities . The thesis also describes forms of home care of elderly and social services. The last section deals with the management of health and social services in the region of Ostrava. The empirical part deals with a research whose aim was to ascertain the demand for the field of social and health services for seniors in the district of Ostrava-City according to the availability of services. The operational objective was to find out whether these services are for seniors financially achievable and how much are older persons informed about these services and their coverage options and how seniors are used to feel the home environment. The empirical part is devoted to research methodology, interpretation of data obtained using the quantitative research made by anonymous questionnaires. It also deals with the verification of hypotheses and discussions of the research.
