Assessment of the financial situation of the chosen part of Agrofert a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit finanční stav skupiny vybraných firem jako celku. Firmy byly vybrány na základě podobnosti předmětu podnikání. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí -- teoretické a praktické. V první části budou vymezeny a vysvětleny všechny použité postupy a metody. V praktické části budou aplikovány všechny tyto metody na konkrétní data z účetních závěrek z roku 2007 až 2012. Bude provedena analýza absolutních i relativních ukazatelů a pyramidový rozklad zvoleného ukazatele. Na závěr budou shrnuty zjištěné výsledky a firmy mezi sebou poměřeny.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to assess financial situation of the chosen companies (the choice is based on the similarity in their business objects). The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. In the first part all the used methods will be explained and described. Practical part consists of the application of all these methods on the data from final accounts in years 2007 -- 2012. The analysis of absolute and relative indicators will be carried out and a chosen relative indicator will be broken with DuPont analysis. The conclusion sums up assessed results and compares the companies to each other.
