Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá změnami ve slovní zásobě, a to zejména postavením germanismů v dnešní češtině. Zaměřili jsme se na charakteristiku tohoto lingvistického termínu a na postoje ke germanismům v českém prostředí. Podívali jsme se i na to, jaké místo zaujímají germanismy ve vybraných slovnících češtiny. Tímto směrem byl orientován i dotazník, ve kterém měli respondenti za úkol uvést význam daného obecného výrazu přejatého z němčiny. Snažili jsme se objasnit, jaký postoj má současná mladá generace ke germanismům, jestli je zná a je schopná určit jejich význam. Pro srovnání bylo do výzkumu zařazeno i několik respondentů z řad starší generace. Dotazník je vyhodnocen v závěru práce a je její nedílnou součástí. Výsledky ukázaly, že mnohé staré germanismy patří do jazykového povědomí i nejmladších respondentů, i když nemůžeme poznat, zde jsou i součástí jejich aktivní slovní zásoby.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis presents the concept of changes in lexicon, particulary position of germanism in contemporary Czech language. We mostly focused on characteristic of this linguistic term, on attitudes to germanisms in Czech surroundings. We also took a look at space, which germanisms take up in chosen dictionaries of Czech language. In the enclosed questionnaire, respondents of contemporary young generation were asked if they understood selected general loanwords from German language and were able to assign a meaning. For comparison between generations we also gave the questionnaire to few respondents of elder generation. The questionnaire, which is an important part of this work, is evaluated at the end of the work. The results showed that mostly old germanisms belong to lingual awareness also in young generation, although we can't recognize if they are also a part of active vocabulary of young generation.
