Abstract:

Rýchlostné lezenie je šport s rastúcou popularitou. Preto rastie dopyt po lepšom pochopení a analýze výkonov v rýchlostnom lezení. Táto práca sa zameriava na počítačom podporovanú analýzu výkonov, konkrétne na porovnanie výkonov v lezení na dve rýchlosti. Analýza poskytuje informácie o absolútnych a relatívnych náskokoch, bodoch oneskorenia a trajektóriách lezcov na základe polohy tela lezcov. Polohy tela sa určujú na úrovni jednotlivých kĺbov pomocou najmodernejšej hlbokej neurónovej siete na odhadovanie polohy človeka. Odhadnuté polohy sa premietajú do jednotného súradnicového priestoru virtuálnej steny pomocou série techník počítačového videnia. Táto práca predstavuje prototyp pozostávajúci z časovo synchronizovaných videí s rozdelenou obrazovkou dvoch rýchlostných výkonov vybraných používateľom. Rozdelená obrazovka je obohatená o numerické a vizuálne analytické poznatky. Výstupom tejto práce je dôkaz konceptu budúcej aplikácie, ktorej cieľom je pomôcť trénerom, odborníkom v danej oblasti alebo športovcom lepšie pochopiť pohyb v rýchlostnom lezení a identifikovať slabé stránky športovcov.

Abstract:

Speed climbing is a sport with growing popularity. Hence, the demand to better understand and analyze speed climbing performance has been growing. This thesis focuses on computer-aided performance analysis, namely a comparison of two-speed climbing performances. The analysis provides information about absolute and relative advantages, delay points, and trajectories of climbers based on the climbers’ body positions. The body positions are determined on the level of individual joints by using a state-of-the-art deep neural network for human pose estimation. Estimated poses are projected onto a unified virtual wall coordinate space using a series of computer vision techniques. This work introduces a prototype comprising time-synchronized split-screen videos of two user-selected speed performances. The split-screen is enriched with numerical and visual-based analytical insights. The output of this work is a proof of concept for a future application that aims to assist trainers, domain experts, or athletes in better understanding the speed climbing movement and identifying athletes’ weaknesses.
