The role of teaching assistants in the process of integraiton at lower secondary school

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské diplomové práce je role asistenta pedagoga v procesu integrace na druhém stupni základní školy. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to teoretické a empirické. V teoretické části jsou obsaženy 3 kapitoly. První uvádí informace o inkluzi a integraci a o rozdílech mezi těmito pojmy, o legislativním rámci těchto dvou pojmů, a o žákovi se speciálně vzdělávacími potřebami, který je hlavním subjektem inkluzivního vzdělávání.Následující kapitolou je další z hlavních subjektů inkluze, a to je samotný asistent pedagoga. V této kapitole jsou obsaženy informace o vymezení tohoto pojmu, o náplni práce, o kvalifikačních a osobnostních předpokladech, o spolupráci s pedagogem a o problematických místech, které se v této pracovní pozici objevují.Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na poruchu autistického spektra. Zde specifikuji tuto diagnózu, žáka s touto poruchou, náplň práce asistenta pedagoga s tímto žákem. Tato diagnóza bude dále specifikována na Aspergerův syndrom, na sociální chování těchto žáků. Empirická část se skládá z metodologického postupu a z výsledků výzkumného šetření. Cílem mé práce je objasnit role asistenta pedagoga na druhém stupni základní školy.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor diploma thesis is the role of teacher assistant in the process of integration at the second level of elementary school. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and an empirical one. There are 3 chapters in the theoretical part. The first chapter contains information on inclusion and integration, and on the differences between these concepts, on the legislative framework of these two concepts, and about the pupil with special educational needs who is the main subject of the inclusive education. The next chapter is about the other main subject of inclusion and that is the teacher assistant himself. This chapter contains information on the definition of this term, the content of his work, the qualification and personality prerequisites, the cooperation with the pedagogue and the problematic areas that appear in this position. The last chapter focuses on the autistic spectrum disorder. Here I specify this disorder, a pupil with this disorder, the job description of the teacher assistant with this pupil. This diagnosis will be further specified on Asperger's syndrome and the social behavior of these pupils. The empirical part consists of the methodological procedure and the results of the research.
