This thesis deals with the phenomenon of language transfer. It provides essential information about the transfer, its types, roles and factors playing role in its occurrence. It takes a closer look at language transfer in L3 acquisition, specifically at transfer from L2 to L3. Diplomová práce se zabývá jazykovým transferem. Představuje hlavní fakta o jazykovém transferu, jeho typy, a faktory, které podmiňují jeho výskyt. Podrobněji se zabývá jazykovým transferem, který může vzniknout, při učení se druhému cizímu jazyku, a to transferem z prvního cizího do druhého cizího jazyka.
