Social engineering in cyberspace

Abstract:

Tato práce se primárně zaměřuje na čtenáře, kteří potřebují uvést do základní terminologie a problematiky sociálního inženýrství. V rovině teoretické se zaměřuje na analyzování a pochopení různých aspektů sociálního inženýrství. Cílem práce je vnuknutí schopnosti efektivně filtrovat a eliminovat rizika manipulace či klamání, které se v dnešní době již běžně vyskytuje v online prostředí tím, že Vás celým procesem tato práce provede. Provede Vás od základů teorie „co sociální inženýrství znamená“ přes jeho formy až po jeho budoucí vývoj. Práce se taktéž zabývá jednotlivými technikami sociálního inženýrství, na které poskytuje podrobnější pohled. Teoretická část práce vrcholí zhodnocením současného vývoje v sociálním inženýrství a klade důraz na jeho budoucí vývoj v rámci integrace umělé inteligence. Na závěr práce, v rámci praktické části, je zpracovaný experiment, který má sloužit jako edukace a zároveň jako prevence před podobnými nástrahami ve Vašem běžném životě v kybernetickém prostředí či laicky řečeno „na internetu“.

Abstract:

This work primarily focuses on readers who need an introduction to the basic terminology and issues of social engineering. On a theoretical level, it aims to analyze and understand various aspects of social engineering. The goal of the work is to instill the ability to effectively filter and eliminate the risks of manipulation or deception, which are now commonly encountered in the online environment, by guiding you through the entire process. It will guide you from foundations of the theory of "what social engineering means" through its forms to the near future of attacks. The work also examines individual techniques of social engineering, providing a more detailed insight into them. The theoretical part of the thesis culminates in an evaluation of the current development in social engineering and emphasizes its future evolution within the integration of artificial intelligence. In the conclusion of the work, within the practical section, an experiment is conducted, intended to serve as education and, at the same time, prevention against similar pitfalls in your everyday life in the cyber environment or basically on the internet.
